North Carolina Wildlife:
Signs, Risks & Solutions

North Carolina is full of wildlife, and most of it belongs exactly where God designed it to be: outside. Bats, squirrels, raccoons, snakes, birds, opossums, etc, all have a purpose in nature. They help control insects, clean up waste, spread seeds, and balance local ecosystems.

The problem starts when wildlife moves from the woods, fields, and creek bottoms into your attic, crawlspace, chimney, vents, walls, or roofline. Once animals get inside, the issue is usually bigger than “just getting the animal out.” Wildlife can damage insulation, chew wiring, contaminate attic or crawlspace areas, create strong odors, attract insects, and open the door for future animal problems.

At Bedard Home & Wildlife Solutions, we believe wildlife should be respected, but your home should be protected.
